The Grey house

A smart floor standing cherrywood jardiniere. The rectangular planter is raised on four elegant, slightly splayed legs. There are four decorative turned wood finials to the top four corners. Beautifully seasoned rich solid cherrywood, with fabulous patina. Would work equally well for housing books or magazines.

A large, late 19th century English wooden dolls house in original dusty grey. This delightful Victorian villa boasts eight large rooms, which include four bedrooms, with four reception rooms, a hall, stairs and landing, all with old polished pine floors, decorated and restored with faded period colours. To the front of the house there are two bays, with five working sash windows. The half glazed front door has been dry scraped back to the original green painted surface, this opens on to an inner hall with a wooden staircase. The back of the house has four large glass windows set within two hinge doors, which when opened reveal the back four rooms, each with a panelled internal door. Standing on a faded green lawn, all housed beneath a large grey faux slate roof. An enchanting, decorative piece of architecture!
